Supporting families through Pregnancy and Postpartum.

Bereavement Doula
Birth & Postpartum Support
Doula Support: Welcome

The term "doula" originates from the Greek word meaning "woman servant" or "caregiver." Today, it represents a skilled professional dedicated to supporting families through the transformative experiences of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

My Approach

My passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early stages of parenthood is rooted in my awe of the incredible strength and miracle of birth. I am honored to serve individuals and families across the Middle Georgia area, providing compassionate care, unbiased information, and emotional support to make this journey a positive and empowering experience.

Pregnancy is a remarkable, natural process—a transformative journey for everyone involved. I firmly believe that when you experience respect, support, and care throughout your pregnancy and postpartum period, it leaves an enduring imprint on your life. My commitment is to offer top-notch, reliable support to you and your family, ensuring a seamless transition during this significant period.

Birth Doulas

A birth doula is a professionally trained support person attuned to the needs of families during pregnancy and childbirth. Providing non-judgmental support, guidance, evidence-based education, and practical hands-on assistance during childbirth, including comfort measures, a birth doula acknowledges the profound impact of childbirth on the pregnant person.

Importantly, a birth doula does not provide medical care, clinical tasks such as cervical checks or fetal heart tones, and does not speak on behalf of the client. To understand the scope of a doula's role in more detail, check out the Do's & Don'ts of Birth Doula Services.

Postpartum Doulas

A postpartum doula, on the other hand, is a trained professional catering to the needs of the family in the days, weeks, and months following birth or the arrival of a new baby. Offering non-judgmental support, guidance, evidence-based education, and practical hands-on assistance from immediately after birth through the first year.

To understand the scope of a doula's role in more detail, check out the Do's & Don'ts of Postpartum Doula Services.

Every pregnancy and postpartum experience is unique, and so is the care you deserve.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Marquisha F.

Courtney provides the best prenatal massage Middle Georgia has to offer. I have had MANY massages and she is extremely qualified, equipped, and blessed. I feel so fortunate to have found her in my final trimester. Each time I leave her massage table, I feel a renewed sense of energy, flexibility and ease. Her energy is warm and welcoming. She is an expert therapist & a gift to those of us fortunate enough to receive her services. I'll never consider another therapist for as long as I'm in the Middle, GA area. Yes! She IS that good!!!!!!

My massage was amazing! Courtney made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The pregnancy pillow was so comfortable and allowed me to lay face down which I've greatly missed recently. Can't wait to go back!

Courtney is amazing! I’ve been seeing her throughout my second pregnancy. She always makes me feel comfortable and has helped so much with mobility/pain relief. The specialty pregnancy pillows are heavenly! I’ll definitely be seeing Courtney for postpartum nursing aches once baby arrives.
