Not all Massage Therapists are Created Equal.
Unfortunately, (most) massage therapy schools do not teach what is needed to provide prenatal massages and are usually outdated on what is taught. Therefore, I have taken CEU after CEU for the past 14 years to learn more about massage therapy for the child-bearing years to remain updated on all information regarding it.
When you are pregnant and miserable; there's nothing worse than going to a massage therapist for relief to discover they clearly have no training, experience or confidence to work on you.
I believe pregnant individuals should have access to high-quality, skilled prenatal massages everywhere. Massage therapists who specialize in the childbearing years can make a vital difference in an individual's experience of being supported in fertility, pregnancy, birth and parenthood.
My mission is to educate the public about the specialized care that they can and should seek out for massage therapy during fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery.
I have additional training in many modalities including but not limited to: Therapeutic Massage, Burn Scar Massage, Fibromyalgia Massage, and Aromatherapy.
All massage sessions are inclusive and can include essential oil, hot towels, stretching, cupping, etc as needed.
All massage appointments are booked online using the "Book Now" button.
Massage Therapy
Fertility massage includes massage of the abdomen with castor oil intended to increase circulation, which is thought by some practitioners to boost fertility. It involves specialized massage techniques that focus on specific areas to improve blood circulation, reduce tension, and promote hormonal balance. This therapy is designed to support the natural functions of the reproductive system. It also includes the use of certain acupressure points throughout the massage session and reflexology as well as fertility awareness, cleansing therapies and visualizations. Fertility massage can also help reduce stress, which is known to have a negative impact on fertility. Overall, this treatment aims to create a nurturing environment for conception and support individuals on their fertility journey.
This works best as a series of three (3) massage treatments minimum.

Pre-Natal &
Post-Partum Massage
Pre-Natal – Prenatal massage is a gentle (yet firm-you're not fragile after all!) and nurturing therapy designed specifically for pregnant individuals. It focuses on addressing the unique physical and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy. Prenatal massage can help alleviate common pregnancy discomforts such as back pain, swelling, and joint stiffness. It also promotes relaxation and reduces stress, which can benefit both the pregnant person and the developing baby.
Post-Partum – Postpartum massage is a therapeutic treatment designed to support new parents in their recovery after childbirth. It focuses on addressing the physical and emotional changes that occur during the postpartum period. Postpartum massage can help alleviate muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. It may also aid in reducing stress and anxiety, which are common during the postpartum period. This type of massage is tailored to meet the specific needs of postpartum individuals, taking into account factors such as childbirth recovery, breastfeeding, and hormonal changes. Start within 5 days of giving birth and continue with regular massage during those first 6 weeks of adjusting and recovering from childbirth and sleep deprivation.
I use a bodyCushion specifically made for pregnancy massage which supports the body at the right points and does not leave you hanging freely in a cutout. You CAN lie face down on the bodyCushion for massage at any stage of pregnancy. This bodyCushion also allows for side-lying if preferred. There are no restrictions on how early or late in pregnancy you can get a massage unless your OB says it isn't recommended due to certain circumstances. THIS IS MY SPECIALTY!
If you choose not to lay on the bodyCushion, that’s ok too!

Sport Stretching
Sport Stretching Bodywork combines the benefits of sports massage techniques with authentic Thai massage. It combines acupressure, energy work, and assisted yoga stretches to improve flexibility, relieve tension, and promote relaxation. Practitioners use their hands, thumbs, elbows, knees, and feet to apply pressure to specific points on the body, while also gently stretching the muscles and joints. Sport Stretching Bodywork is believed to balance the body's energy pathways, known as Sen lines, and promote overall well-being.
Sport Stretching Bodywork is mostly stretching, so please wear stretching/flexible clothing as you would for yoga.
